Both the director and co-director of NHA hold Florida certificates for teaching and have advanced degrees in both education and administration.

The director holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Social Studies, a master’s in education, and a doctorate in school administration and educational leadership.

The co-director has a bachelor’s degree in history. Her master's program is both E.S.E. and curriculum. She holds a certificate in Exceptional Student Education for the state of Florida.
